Use traditional methods.
Apply virgin coconut oil. I don't think you can get it in the shops. If you know someone from village, ask them to bring it for you. The normal pure/liquid coconut oil that we get in shops are not much nutritional. Virgin coconut oil is the oil extracted without heating the coconut. It will be semisolid.
Take one or two spoons of curry leaf (karugapillai) and murungai leaf powder.
To prepare the powder,
Take the leaves, wash them and spread it to dry.
It will dry in few hours.
you can fry (vathakurathu in tamil) it with very very little oil (even without oil) to make it crispy and remove the water content. Then grind it in our usual mixer.
Leave it as spread for few days, it will become dry and little bit crispy. Then you can grind it to make the powder.
These leaves are cheap and have more nutritional values.
Also, make sure that dust is not deposited in your scalp. In our country, air pollution is high unless you reside only in AC room and travel only in AC car, dust content will be comparatively less. Normally it is advisable to wash your hair twice a week with some good herbal powder/shampoo.
